WHO DAT NATION: Newn Orleans Saints Running Back Alvin Kamara is creating records we didn’t even know existed; everybody couldn’t wait to hug…..
When the New Orleans Saints entered the 2024-25 season, they did so with certain expectations that were higher than they had been in prior years.
They brought back a defence that many people considered to be among the best units in the league, and they retooled the attacking coaching staff in order to better capitalise on some outstanding playmakers.
Those expectations were raised to a higher level once the year began with two emphatic victories. The team’s seven-game losing skid, which was caused by injuries, a lack of depth, and poor execution on the part of both players and coaches, brought those hopes crashing down to earth.
Following Dennis Allen’s dismissal, the Saints went on to win two consecutive games under interim coach Darren Rizzi, bringing their overall record to 4-7 before they went into their bye week. The next time they will compete is this coming Sunday, when they will play the Los Angeles Rams at home.
There is a multitude of explanations for why the Saints have once again fallen substantially behind in their pursuit of a postseason spot this season. One of the most disappointing things that has happened to us so far this year is highlighted by the Saints News Network crew.
