Tied for fourth with seven sacks, Hendrickson—who laughs everytime records or personal accolades—is behind first runner Dexter Lawrence of the New York Giants.

For Bengals history, four sacks in two games is not as significant as it would be for Hendrickson. It is the eleventh time this has occurred.

But in back-to–back games, at least two sacks in front of me? That is a somewhat rare occurrence.

Only the sixth Bengal to reach that is Hendrickson, whose two-sack performances against the New York Giants and Cleveland Browns mark the 16th and 17 multi-sack games of his career. You could probably win a bar bet by daring someone to name the other five.

Although no Cincinnati player has recorded 2+ sacks in three straight games, Hendrickson has a legitimate chance to do it given his performance and who he will be facing – Eagles backup left tackle and former Cincinnati colleague Fred Johnson.

Kevin Greene covering the 1997 and 1998 seasons and Leslie O’ Neal in 2002 set the NFL record for most consecutive games with 2+ sacks at five.
