The Dodgers were considered heavy favorites and a powerful squad heading into the season. But they’ll be among the playoff teams with the most injuries as October approaches.

This season, injuries have ravaged Los Angeles. Several important players, particularly in the pitching department, will not be available to them. The Dodgers will be missing right-handed ace pitcher Tyler Glasnow, who is vital to their rotation.

After suffering yet another elbow injury, Glasnow will miss the entire season. He will be “re-examined” in a few weeks, according to the 31-year-old who spoke to the media.

Los Angeles Times reporter Jack Harris used Twitter/X to disseminate the news. Press of Los Angeles According to Mike DiGiovanna, Glasnow informed him that further imaging tests did not find anything more serious than an elbow sprain.

Even though it’s fantastic news that Glansow won’t need surgery, he didn’t hold back in expressing his extreme frustration at the end of his season.

“It’s really annoying,” Glasnow expressed. “I wanted to come here to win a World Series and pitch in the postseason.”

“Just knew it would have been dumb to keep throwing on it,” stated the man.

The elbow problems that Glasnow is currently experiencing are not new. Last season, Glasnow made 21 starts while pitching 120 innings for the Tampa Bay Rays after undergoing Tommy John surgery in 2022.

He seems to have rediscovery this season, his debut with the Los Angeles franchise. Over the course of 22 starts, he went 9-6 with 168 strikeouts, 134.0 innings pitched, and a 3.49 ERA. His WHIP was 0.94.

Even though he was meant to lead the Dodgers to a championship this season, Glasnow has stated that he will sit on the bench and watch as his teammates try to win it all.

The journalists were informed by the California native that he is seeking solutions and wants an end to these elbow ailments.

“I’m just trying to figure out something to get my arm to a good spot to try and relieve some of the tension in my elbow,” stated the man. “I guess I’m just trying to figure all that out and implement it through the offseason and next season.”

The 6-foot-8 pitcher had an outstanding rookie season and will now strive to improve even more in 2025 by avoiding injury. It will be interesting to watch whether the Dodgers have enough arms to weather the storm after losing him.
