It has been reported by sources close to the team that the Toronto Blue Jays are reportedly contemplating the possibility of acquiring a senior starting pitcher in order to bolster their rotation.

The team receives this information from sources that they are familiar with. The Blue Jays are performing thorough market research in order to find an experienced pitcher who can give their pitching staff with both consistency and depth. This is being done as the deadline for trades inches closer.

In spite of the fact that they already have a strong core that is comprised of Alek Manoah and Kevin Gausman, the Blue Jays are considering adding a complementary component to their rotation in order to finish it off.

The team is searching for a pitcher who has a history of success and who is capable of providing their staff with a boost, particularly during the postseason.

There are a number of prospective competitors that are now the topic of rumors. Some of these rumors involve seasoned pitchers like Noah Syndergaard and Mike Minor, and there is even the possibility of a reunion with Marcus Stroman, who pitched for the Blue Jays in the past.
