Since accepting a five-year contract with the Razorbacks that was worth $7 million per season, Calipari has been successful in securing his first 2025 recruit with the Razorbacks. Calipari departed Kentucky for Arkansas in April.

A decision that Acuff made, which he disclosed on YouTube, was to go with the Arkansas Razorbacks rather than Kansas or Michigan. According to 247Sports, the 6-3, 180-pound native born and raised in Detroit is also a composite five-star prospect.

At the end of June, Acuff narrowed his choice down to eight schools: Arkansas, Kansas, Michigan, and the University of Connecticut. Prior to the announcement on Friday, he eliminated the two teams that had previously won the national championship. It was a successful official visit for me.

In an interview with 247Sports, Acuff stated, “I have a good relationship with John Calipari.” My travels took me to both Kentucky and Arkansas. I went to both of those states. The only thing that made a difference was the schools. The visit was quite enjoyable.

There is no better guard coach than Coach Cal. In the National Basketball Association, the majority of his guards are players.
