Veteran safety Jamal Adams will face his former team in his Titans debut game after participating fully throughout practice all week despite suffering with a hip issue. When the Chicago Bears lost in Week 1, Adams was not in the game.

In the 2017 NFL Draft, Adams was chosen by the Jets with the sixth overall selection. Throughout his tenure with the New York Giants, he garnered two Pro Bowl nods and a First Team All-Pro honor.

Two players who have been out all week due to injury are expected to play versus New York: offensive guard Dillon Radunz (rib) and linebacker Otis Reese (concussion). Due to a neck issue, offensive guard Peter Skoronski was limited in Thursday’s practice, but he was fully returned on Friday.

The team is obviously being careful with the practice reps of veteran cornerbacks Chidobe Awuzie (hip) and L’Jarius Sneed (rest) so that they are fresh for game day, as they appeared on the injury report with limited availability during Friday’s practice.

When facing Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who returned from a torn Achilles tendon with a decent performance in Week 1, the Titans will require a strong showing from Adams, Awuzie, and Sneed.

The Jets have placed defensive lineman Michael Clemons (tricep) and cornerback D.J. Reed (knee), who returned from a short week, on the injury report and are questionable to play in Sunday’s game. On Friday, Clemons participated fully in practice but Reed sat out.

New York also listed cornerback Michael Carter (ankle), offensive tackle Tyron Smith (rest), and receiver Mike Williams (knee) as injuries, but all three were active and participating on Friday.
