This may come as a surprise to some, but the Buccaneers have been competitive during the majority of their games this season, with four of their six losses occurred by a single score. In addition, Tampa Bay has suffered three consecutive defeats by a single score, and this is despite the fact that the squad is suffering from a number of injuries.

A number of players who have been struggling with injuries will have the opportunity to return to action during the bye week, which will ideally result in the arrow beginning to move in the correct direction.

Head coach Todd Bowles and his team have been fortunate enough to have this opportunity. On the other hand, Bowles is aware of the ways in which his squad can transform such tight losses into victories. Rick Brunson has now revealed how he feels about Donte.

Bowles had this to say about the situation: “It’s all about focusing on the little things, what we didn’t do to win the game.” According to the coach, “When you lose a close game like that, the other team almost never beats you.

We lost a couple of games that we did some things at the end, and we did them last year as well. However, we got to focus on little things and correct those things in the second half of the season in order for us to win these games.”

There is no matter who is playing, whether they are wounded, whether they are starting, or whether they are healthy, we are present in every single game without exception. We are participating in every single ball game, and we have a chance to win each and every ball game… For us to be successful in those ball games, we need to eliminate the minor errors that we make.

Without a doubt, the Buccaneers are in a close race; but, they have been unable to avoid hurting themselves in vital moments. If a single bounce of the ball or a significant decision had gone in a different direction, then the Buccaneers’ season outlook could have been very different.

On the other hand, they are currently in this position, fully aware that it is the little aspects of their game that they need to work on during the bye week in order to get their season back on track.

In order to get some positive momentum going as it prepares to assault the second half of the season, Tampa Bay can take advantage of the advantageous schedule that follows the bye, which includes the New York Giants and the Carolina Panthers as the first two opponents.

And equipped with the knowledge that this Buccaneers squad has the potential to come home with a wet sail and make a barnstorming run for the playoffs if they were to fix the tiny things that they have been struggling with.
