As the Indianapolis Colts enter the most recent bye week that is now available to NFL teams, they have a record of 6-7. Fans of the Colts, who have been subjected to more than enough drama throughout the first three months of the season, are beginning to engage in introspection during the fourteenth week of the season.
The Colts have been as dysfunctional as any other team this season, as evidenced by the fact that they have benched their fourth-overall pick from 2023 and then brought him back two weeks later. In spite of the drama, Indianapolis has been able to amass six victories through a total of thirteen games. Anthony Richardson, who is in his second year as a quarterback, has been an integral part of several of these victories. Over the previous three weeks, he has led the club on two drives that have resulted in touchdowns.
Following his removal from the starting lineup in favor of Joe Flacco, a veteran of seventeen years, Richardson fought for his position back and has exceeded expectations. According to Pro Football Focus, Richardson has been ranked as the sixth best quarterback in the NFL ever since he made his comeback to the starting lineup. The fact that he passed with a score of 82.9 demonstrates his progress, particularly in terms of accuracy and decision-making.
