Just In: Cincinnati Bengals’ Zac Taylor have just made a decision that either make or break the team this season. Does this risk worth taking…….

On Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals will travel to Nashville to face the Tennessee Titans, a matchup that pits instructors against students.

Monday night’s 27-20 come-from-behind victory over the Dallas Cowboys ended a three-game losing slide for the Bengals (5-8). Just twice this season is Cincinnati aiming for back-to-back victories.

Under first-year head coach Brian Callahan, the Titans (3-10) have, unsurprisingly, struggled. Last Sunday, they lost 10-6 at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Callahan is well-prepared for this week’s matchup, having recently departed from his role as an assistant to Bengals head coach Zac Taylor to take charge of a rebuilding effort in Tennessee. During Joe Burrow’s first four and Ja’Marr Chase’s first three NFL seasons, Callahan served as the offensive coordinator.

The NFL is in awe of the Burrow-Chase tandem as of late. Although Burrow has thrown for more touchdown passes than anyone else in the NFL (33), Chase ranks first in receptions (93), yards (1,319), and touchdowns (15). In Monday night’s victory, Chase caught 14 passes for 177 yards and two scores on 18 targets.

That isn’t a powerful duo for Callahan.

Will Levis, the quarterback, has thrown for 1,827 yards and 12 touchdowns on 63.6% passing accuracy with nine interceptions. He missed three games due to injury. Among Titans receivers, Calvin Ridley ranks first with 738 yards on 50 receptions and three touchdowns.

Callahan has complete admiration for Burrow and Chase of the Bengals.

“Crazy as it sounds, they keep getting better, the both of them,” added Callahan. And I don’t think anybody in the NFL can match Joe’s performance at the position right now. Having a vote would make him my MVP pick. As of right moment, I don’t think anybody else can hold their own at quarterback. And Ja’Marr, well, he just keeps surprising everyone with his abilities, and then he does even more, and their performance is absolutely phenomenal.

In addition to his injury, Burrow is coping with an off-field issue. While he was supposedly performing in Dallas on Monday night, someone broke into his home in the Cincinnati suburbs, and the police are now looking into the incident. Just as he hobbled into the dressing room, his left knee hurting, he learned that someone had broken into his home.

“More has been leaked about me than I like to admit, and I feel like my privacy has been invaded in more ways than one. That concludes my remarks on the matter, Burrow stated on Wednesday. Yes, it is a component. The lack of privacy is one of the things I dislike most about our public lifestyle. I’ve struggled with this throughout my career and am still learning to cope with it, but I do know that it’s just a part of the life we choose.

According to what Taylor announced on Wednesday, Bengals linebacker Joe Bachie will be out for a number of weeks with an adductor injury.

Along with wide receiver Charlie Jones (groin) and offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. (fibula), the Bengals designated both players as non-participants on Wednesday’s injury report. Limited participation was observed with WR Tee Higgins (rest), tackle Amarius Mims (ankle), and Burrow (ankle).

Following Wednesday’s practice in Tennessee, ex-Bengals receiver Tyler Boyd sat out due to a foot injury. Running back Tony Pollard (ankle), defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons (rest), linebacker Kenneth Murray (hamstring), and kicker Nick Folk (groin) did not participate to either.
