While he is in his final year of eligibility, many in the football community are debating whether Eli should be inducted.

Former teammate Justin Tuck, a two-time Super Bowl winner and All-Pro defensive end, thinks it should be obvious. He was with him for eleven years.

I think so. “He is a first ballot Hall of Famer,” Tuck told Ryan Clark, host of The Pivot, not long ago. A few instances will suffice.

You include his longevity, yards, touchdowns, Super Bowls, and MVPs outside of the statistics, which support that idea (in my opinion). On its own, I believe that resolves the question.

According to Tuck, Eli had an uphill battle to succeed because people looked up to him because of his last name.

Living in Peyton Manning’s shadow and building your own identity in the greatest and broadest market in the world is incredibly hard, he added, adding that few people really consider this.

Others, though, play a role. Eli was a dependable quarterback who started 210 games in a row, which is third-most by an NFL quarterback, and who set a record with 16 seasons with the Giants.

There is a great deal more to Eli Manning than what is immediately apparent, as Tuck pointed out.

“Under his guidance. He may not have been an overbearing leader, but consider how consistently he showed up to that institution. For sixteen years straight, you can be the first customer to enter and the last customer to exit. His statement was expanded upon by the inclusion of the consistency model.

Even if other people question Eli’s value, Tuck is certain that Eli is at home in Canton.

“Why is it even a question?” Tuck asked.
