ESPN Reports: Tennessee Titans have just brought back a dominant NFL player from overseas for their bench in a blockbuster deal worth……Read more
There are a lot of big questions about the Tennessee Titans’ future that need answering as we approach the second part of the 2024 NFL season.
The most pressing issue is, first and foremost, what happens to the quarterback position moving forward. Can Will Levis hold down the starting quarterback position for the squad in the long run? Is it necessary for the Titans to seek out a replacement?
A lot of people believe that Tennessee might take a quarterback in the first round of the 2025 draft. The one drawback is that they might benefit from assistance in other domains as well.
Would it be possible to consider a current NFL quarterback who is only a rookie instead of drafting a quarterback?
Someone to keep an eye on might be a player for the Dallas Cowboys right now. Naturally, Trey Lance is that choice.
In the 2021 NFL Draft, Lance was originally selected with the third overall choice. He has not had many opportunities to show his worth on the field thus far. Maybe when he hits free agency this summer, he’ll have his chance.
Lance is well worth the Titans’ risk considering he’s only 24 years old. He might enter the game, challenge Levis for the starting job, and maybe even win it.
Tennessee may still have their long-term quarterback in him if he can mature and live up to the hype that drew them to him as the third overall choice. He’s got a lot of potential, and he’s still young.
Lance has played in just eight games over his first 35 games with the NFL. His passing statistics are as follows: 597 yards, 5 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions (or 54.9% completion rate). Additionally, Lance has run for 235 yards and a score.
A high first-round choice goes a long way when it comes to quarterbacks. Why not bring in a player who was a first-round choice in the past but has yet to see game action and develop?
The Titans might not be interested in going this direction. But if they offer him a chance, it might pay off in spades.
