ESPN Reports: Cincinnati Bengals WR Shocks Fans By Departing After Heated Rift With Head Coach Zac Taylor……
In his game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday night, Bo Nix, a quarterback for the Denver Broncos who once played for the Oregon Ducks, had a great outing. He recorded many highlight plays while also putting to rest any concerns that were raised about his downfield passing ability.
During the fourth inning of the Broncos’ back-and-forth loss at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, Nix dropped back and threw a touchdown throw to Marvin Mims that went for 51 yards. This brought the score to 17 with 8 minutes and 48 seconds remaining in the game.
The ball went a total of 64 yards through the air when it was caught by Mims at the back of the end zone. This is the longest distance that the ball has gone in the National Football League this season.
Nix, who had previously wrestled with uncertainties regarding his ability to pass downfield while playing for Oregon and in the NFL, was given the opportunity to demonstrate his worth.
Immediately after Nix made a deep pass to Mims, Oregon supporters were quick to point out those who were skeptical. The original post made by @zayflowersgoat was cited by another user on X, @69sco_, who also included a video of the touchdown hookup that went for 51 yards.
During the latter part of the game, Nix also connected with Mims for a touchdown that tied the score at 25 yards with only eight seconds remaining to play. As the game came to a close, he finished with 219 throwing yards, three touchdowns, and only one offensive interception.
Nix is now ranked third in the offensive rookie of the year odds at +3500, as reported by Caeser’s Sportsbook as of the morning of Sunday October 1. On Sunday, January 5, the Broncos will play host to Kansas City, and the quarterback who formerly played for Oregon will go back into action.
