We can start betting on NHL games again now that a new week has begun. Rest certain, I have my wagers set on both of Monday night’s games, which are the only ones to wager on before Tuesday’s jam-packed schedule.

Let’s continue our impressive start to the hockey season this week.montgomery-1600x900 ESPN Reports: Boston Bruins have just brought back a dominant NHL player from overseas for their bench in a blockbuster deal worth……Read more

Predators vs. Kings OVER 6 (+100)
Pick: Devils -125, Oilers +125
Rulers vs. Hunters Prediction
It seems like this game is going to be a low-scoring affair by the looks of things. To start, the Kings’ defense has been top-notch all season. They are second in the NHL in anticipated goals against per 60 minutes of 5-on-5 play. Not far behind them in eighth place is the Predators in that statistic.

The Predators are a perfect recipe for underdogs thanks to Juuse Saros, one of the league’s top goaltenders, and their own shooting woes, which have put them in 30th place in the league.

With the money on the UNDER in the first game of the night, I’m a huge fan.

What to Expect From Devils vs. Oilers
Lots of problems have plagued the Oilers this year. Their penalty kill has been the worst in the league, they are 31st in shooting %, and their goaltending has been dreadful. Nearly 40% of the powerplays that the Oilers’ opponents have faced have resulted in goals. The Devils’ fifth-ranked powerplay is a major concern for them tonight, so that’s bad news.

Although the Oilers maintain a respectable position in advanced measures, they are consistently at a disadvantage due to poor penalty kill and their inability to execute basic tasks well.
