It’ll go down on Nov. 5, and you can bet there’ll be a bunch of moves happening before then. Do you think the Philadelphia Eagles will make a trade before the deadline? If they keep heading in the right direction, it wouldn’t be surprising to see the team make a move.

So, what’s up next for the Eagles? Philadelphia’s doing pretty well and has snagged two wins in a row. The Eagles are sitting at 4-2 this season and are set to take on the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday.

The Eagles are on the rise, but they’ve got a lot of choices ahead of them. For sure, the trade deadline will be a big topic, but there’ll be a few other things to chat about too. Bleacher Report’s scouting team came up with a list of what each team really needs and how they can tackle those issues now, next offseason in free agency, and during the draft. Bleacher Report thinks that Pro Bowl defensive end Josh Sweat is likely to sign with the Miami Dolphins next offseason in free agency.

2025 Free Agency: EDGE Josh Sweat, from the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Bleacher Report. Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb together can really boost the Dolphins’ defense when they’re both in good shape. The thing is, that hasn’t really happened much since the Dolphins picked up Chubb. Luckily, Emmanuel Ogbah has stepped up when either of them (or both) are missing.

“Ogbah is a free agent in 2025 and is getting a bit older.” Bringing in a younger vet like Josh Sweat would definitely boost their edge-rusher crew and keep things fresh.

Sweat’s got three sacks this season after six games. He’s only 27 and has a one-year contract worth $10 million. Do you think he’ll sign back with the Eagles next offseason? It’s a bit too soon to tell.
