Thanks to their bye week, the Green Bay Packers have a 6-3 record and are their route to the postseason. Everything else, down to the Packers’ playoff fate, will unfold as follows.
Wisconsin’s Green Bay — When this time last year rolled around, the Packers’ record was 3-6. With their bye week behind them, they stand at 6-3 on the season.
With a 9-8 record in the regular season, Green Bay made the playoffs and nearly advanced to the NFC Championship Game last season. Are we looking at a return to the magic of the second half of the season?
According to coach Matt LaFleur, “I think that’s one of the things we’re going to talk about as a staff is some of the things we did the back half of the season to allow us to develop and continue to get better.” That was stated on Monday.
A lot of it, I believe, stemmed from the way we approached practice and the amount of competition we had there. Frankly, I felt that it showed in our performance and gave practices a boost of energy.
