Breaking news: Garrett Crochet White Sox Pitcher is set to make a historic impact as he announces…Read more
Help is desperately needed by the Chicago White Sox at every level of the organization right now, and that much is obvious. The squad just had the worst record in modern history (41-121) in their most recent season.
There is every effort being made by the organization to reverse the situation. The first is that they have just appointed young gun Will Venable as the team’s new manager. Additionally, by appointing Ryan Fuller as Director of Hitting, they have made moves to enhance the club’s offense, which ranks worst in the league.
Some excerpts from the news release are as follows:
The Baltimore Orioles were Fuller’s co-hitting coach for the past three years. He is 34 years old. Batting average (.250), runs scored (786), RBI (459), home runs (239), extra-base hits (335), slugging percentage (3.35), runs per game (4.85), RBI (459), hits (1,391), and batting average (7th) were all categories in which Baltimore was among the top in 2024. The Orioles have scored 2,267 runs (4.66 per game) since 2022, which ranks them fourth in the American League and seventh in baseball.
When Fuller was with the Orioles, he was undoubtedly collaborating with some of the game’s top young hitters. Chicago is a talent desert, so he won’t have any of that there. The club has a chance to significantly improve its roster if they can trade either Garrett Crochet or Luis Robert this summer.
Lots of people are speculating that Crochet will be traded this winter. Fuller would probably be pleased to hear that the White Sox have stated their want for a position player to be included in any trade involving Crochet.
