The Bears had a second-and-10 situation at their 39-yard line late in the third quarter, with Green Bay leading 14-13. Running back D’Andre Swift was given the ball and ran it 39 yards for the touchdown.

Jones pancaked Packers safety Evan Williams after he pulled to the left on the play. His block set up Swift for a score by opening up a lane for him.
Brady commented, “I mean, this is what the Windy City needs,” as he analyzed the replay. “That type of power [and] physicality.”

Jones missed the previous two games due to a knee injury, despite having an above-average 71 Pro Football Focus grade in his first seven games. Some of Chicago’s offensive issues may have been exacerbated by his absence.

Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams had been sacked fifteen times, and the Bears had scored just twelve points in their previous two games.

Jones appears to play a key role for Chicago, thus it is imperative that he stays healthy so that the offense can get back on track.
