BREAKING NEWS: Caitlin Clark Discloses That She Will Be…..Read More
One of the most fascinating WNBA players to watch on the field is Caitlin Clark, who plays for the Indiana Fever. Her off-court antics have also been well-received by her admirers.
Fever member Lexie Hull secretly taped Clark calling a Major League Baseball game from her hotel room earlier this week, and the video went viral. The game was between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Milwaukee Brewers. It quickly became viral, as is typical of much content involving Clark these days.
Reporters questioned Clark about her play-by-play attempt following Saturday’s Indiana practice.”I mentioned to (Lexie Hull) that occasionally I’ll just provide game commentary, and she responded, ‘Alright, let’s do it right now.'” “Until about halfway through, I had no idea she was recording,” Clark remarked. “However, I must admit, it is relatively enjoyable.
I’ve been keeping up with the Phillies, so I’m familiar with a few of their players and things. It was very amusing. I made a couple of mistakes. Not only was I fatigued and out of breath, but that was a tough gig. The pundits, please take this moment to stand up.
After about two minutes, I realized I needed a break. You need to come up with ad hoc topics to discuss because there is a great deal of downtime in baseball. Thus, I was rambling on and on about his shoes and other unrelated topics. Quite distinct from basketball, actually.
“I don’t know if commentating is in my future, but maybe one time for fun somebody will let me do it.”
Two or three Major League Baseball clubs have sent Clark offers that are now pending. For true, the Brewers’ social media crew asked Clark to be a part of their Bally Sports Wisconsin broadcast, and she turned down an offer from the Phillies on TikTok.
Obviously, the Fever are crossing their fingers that they won’t have time to launch Clark’s radio career this autumn. To kick off the first round of the 2024 WNBA playoffs, Indiana will face the Connecticut Sun in a best-of-three series.
Game 1 of the Fever vs. Sun series will take place at Mohegan Sun Arena on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET. We can confidently predict that Clark will not be in the broadcast booth, but rather starting at point guard against Connecticut.
