Atlanta Falcons’ Offense Gets Great News with Return of Their 24 Years Old Wide Receiver….
Although it is difficult to project what the Falcons’ offseason will look like at this point, certain NFL clubs have different situation.
If Raheem Morris finds unsatisfactory what Zac Robinson or Jimmy Lake presented, Atlanta might be searching for new coordinators particularly with reference to the latter of which. The Falcons might be searching for a new general manager, and hell, they might be looking to move Kirk Cousins.
Right now, it’s difficult to predict as the course of the rest of the season will determine their offseason orientation. Their adversaries in the Big Easy, on the other hand, will have quite the active offseason with one obvious objective: choose a new head coach.
Following Dennis Allen’s firing and apparently maintaining Mickey Loomis as GM, the Saints will search for their next Sean Payton and what should sound like nails on a chalkboard for Falcons supporters? New Orleans is interested in the hottest commodity of the recruiting cycle in Ben Johnson.
ESPN’s Dan Graziano says the Chicago Bears, New York Jets, and New Orleans Saints are all likely to have the Lions offensive coordinator under observation. Having been the most sought-after applicant in both of the two past employment cycles, he is projected to be so in each one.
Go 3-13-1 in their first season in Detroit, Ben Johnson took over the Lions’ attack upon Dan Campbell’s appointment. With 28.3 (I know, Falcons supporters), they lead the NFL in scoring and are suddenly 12-1, favorites to win the Super Bowl.
Luckily, the Saints aren’t exactly the most sought-after landing site for potential head coaches; Ben Johnson’s criteria will most certainly rule out teams that aren’t quite picture-perfect.
Still, if the Saints land Ben Johnson, the Falcons might find themselves in a nightmare scenario rather than a possibility.
