A Bold Move in a Time of Crisis : Los Angeles Rams Propose $139.5 Million Trade for Miami Dolphins Wide Receiver Amidst Team Turmoil……

For the Los Angeles Rams, this season has turned around really dramatically. From injury-laden and bottom-of- the-league position to division leader and “scary” club to have to play in the NFL Playoffs.

Los Angeles Rams Linked To 'Late Developing' Wide Receiver

Nobody (probably not one) is considering the NFL Draft and how the Rams might strengthen their squad for next year when three games remain to play and the playoffs are just around.

Apart from any domination from the offensive line, one clear flaw in the offense is that the depth at receiver is fortuitous, if not totally inconsistent behind Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua.

Bleacher Report’s Brent Sobleski recently published an NFL-fitting essay connecting wide receivers in the draft to their ideal landing places and scheme. For the Rams, he called quite the sleeper with great upward potential.

Illinois WR Pat Bryant connected to Los Angeles Rams
For Sean McVay and the Rams, Pat Bryant is somewhat the classic WR. Rarely does this team pursue the big-name receiver; instead, it finds diamond in the rough who meets all the requirements for the offense—route running, outstanding hands, and blocking.

At 6’3″‘s 200 pounds, Bryant’s stature is comparable to Nacua’s but would play best on the outside. With second-team All-Big Ten recognition and career highs in receptions with 54, yards with 984, and touchdowns with 10. This past year was his greatest statistically one.

He was also a team captain, to which the Rams have always given great accolades.

With 18.2 yards per grab, Bryant was among the best in the nation, fourth among receivers with 50 or more catches, same as Jordan Whittington of last year’s draft. The Rams enjoy having their receivers on Day 2 or 3, hence Pat Bryant is someone to monitor as draft season gets ready.
