The trade talks involving Kyle Tucker, the Astros’ three-time All-Star hitter, have resumed their fiery phase. Until he changes his mind or the next trade deadline rolls around, they will go on as before.
The organization needs to find someone else to pay if they aren’t going to keep Tucker, who is a franchise player. Instead of bolstering the roster with a huge haul, letting him depart in free agency would be malpractice.

The Phillies of Philadelphia, whom Houston lost to by a hair in the 2022 World Series, are among the several clubs rumored to be interested in the outfield bat.

The Phillies would be an ideal trade partner for the Astros because of all the ways in which they might contribute to the deal. The Astros have an opportunity to strengthen their farm system and address a roster void if they pull this off correctly.

In what might be a massive transaction, the Houston Astros would send third baseman Alec Bohm to the Philadelphia Phillies in return for pitching prospect Andrew Painter and outfield/first base prospect Carlos De La Cruz.

Bohm is widely believed to be one of the most tradeable players available at the deadline, having gained popularity as a possible trade chip in recent weeks.

The6’7″ flamethrower has already reached Double-A before turning 20 years old, yet he is only 21 years old. The time he missed because of the injury shouldn’t be a major deterrent.

He provides a possible solution for the team at first base at 6-foot-8. Although he has experience in both the outfield and the infield, he has usually played the outfield for Philadelphia.
