At the moment, the Diamondbacks possess three skilled players who can perform in the center field position. Corbin Carroll, Jake McCarthy, and Alek Thomas are a trio. Carroll stands out as an unassailable figure, being a key player, while McCarthy and Thomas have emerged as the main subjects of trade rumors. Both athletes possess quickness, left-handed swings, and cost-effectiveness, which make them attractive resources.

The Diamondbacks are eager to delve into the trade market during this offseason.
McCarthy, aged 26, had an impressive performance in the 2024 season, achieving a batting average of .285/.349/.400 with eight home runs. He proved himself as a dependable player who could be counted on consistently towards the end of the season.
