In Sunday’s game, running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. will get more yards from scrimmage than wide receiver Malik Nabers.despite-john-maras-vote-of-confidence-flawed-giants-could-v0-1MJ92s3fgpWSz6ZqLC_dQAfuW3uFDqZBVhrP9Np2XA4 Breaking: New York Giants QB shocks fans by Departing After Heated Rift With Head Coach Brian Daboll Regarding ..….See more
Schmeelk, John: As a matter of fact, the Giants demonstrated in last week’s first half that they will seize any chance to run the football and make sure to do it multiple times. The Commanders’ run defense is among the worst in the league this season, second only to the Panthers’. Tyrone Tracy Jr. will be pounded by the Giants until it’s no longer necessary. Another elite cornerback, Jaycee Horn, might pose a threat to Malik Nabers.

Fiction by Dan Salomone – It seemed like a bit too much time has passed since Nabers last had a 100-yard game, considering he was selected with the sixth overall choice. He needs a flashback to the first three months of the season soon.

Nabers is overdue for a breakthrough game, but I’m taking Tracy here, Matt Citak: Fact. Three times in the five games since he was named the starting running back for the Giants, Tracy has gained more than 100 yards from scrimmage. His best performance came against the Steelers, whose defense was ranked first in the NFL. With cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and Michael Jackson both coming off games in which they allowed no receptions as the team’s closest defenders, Nabers should expect to see plenty of them in coverage. Just so you know, the Panthers’ 159.3 rushing yards per game are the best in the league. Another game with 100+ yards for the rookie running back could be in the cards.

Receivers Malik Nabers and Tyrone Tracy Jr. will both finish with more yards from scrimmage than the other by season’s end.
Schmeelk, John: Truth: Despite receiving a high volume of targets per game, Malik Nabers has failed to produce the number of explosive plays that his stature would suggest. I predict that he will surpass Tracy in yardage gained and touchdowns scored by the end of the season by making more huge plays out of his shorter receptions. The outcome may hinge on whether or not either player misses any games because of an injury.

Tracy is currently leading 558–557, and they are separated by just one yard, according to Dan Salomone’s fiction. The Giants may have stumbled across a steal with the fifth-round running back, who has only been stuffed three times all season (out of 89 attempts) and never more than thrice in a single game. At the same time, his average per carry is five yards.

As a matter of fact, Nabers had two games in which he accumulated 100 receiving yards before to Tracy’s debut (Matt Citak). After missing two games due to a concussion, receiver Greg Nabers has been targeted 32 times in the past three weeks. While these targets have only resulted in 171 yards so far, a target share like that should lead to a far larger yardage total in the future. Daniel Jones has been a touch more adventurous with his deep passes recently, perhaps as a consequence of opponents honing in on Nabers more due to his early breakthrough. I also expect Tracy to have a solid second half of the season, but Nabers will end with more yards from scrimmage than Tracy since he will catch passes deep down the field again soon.
