Just in: Los Angeles Rams have just revealed that their 24-year-old star will be returning to their starting lineup….see details

The Los Angeles Rams of 2024 have the most costly offensive among all the teams. While the inexperienced, patch-worked defense established itself, this offense was meant to be the engine propelling the squad toward the playoffs. Not that has been the case, though.

NFL Scouts: Rams At 'Odd Point,' See No Path To Offensive Improvement

With roughly 332 yards per game—good for 17th in the league—they are 20th in the NFL with 21 points per game. Not even scoring well by efficiency numbers, a pillar of the Sean McVay attack. In DVOA and EPA per play they are 14th.

Early in the season, health was the scapegoat; but, over the past three weeks, the Rams’ offense has performed with almost a whole slate of projected starters and hasn’t improved any statistical category.

The scouts of Bleacher Report investigated potential fixes for Rams problems and were as confused as McVay seems to be. Here is what they penned regarding the “odd point” the Rams are currently at in this season.

Not One Solution for Rams Issues
In Week 11, they appeared to settle on a serviceable offensive-line configuration, with rookie Beaux Limmer back at center and Warren McClendon Jr. at right tackle. Still, the line proved once more a big disadvantage to Philadelphia.
Sadly, starting-caliber linemen are not exactly abundant in the free-agent market.

While getting tight end Tyler Higbee back may help the offense some, the Rams are essentially who they will be in 2024.

From now on, the best they can do is aim to provide young players like Jordan Whittington, Blake Corum, Jaylen McCollough, Kamren Kinchens more experience.

L.A. has to balance keeping competitive with future talent development on a delicate line. The Rams find themselves in an unusual situation when leaning too much in either direction would not make sense.
