Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles will be aiming for their third consecutive victory.
Philadelphia had an injury-plagued start, but things have been looking up since the bye week. The Eagles have improved significantly as a club and have won back-to-back games. Now that they’re on a winning streak, the Eagles will take on the Bengals on Sunday at Paycor Stadium.
The Bengals are going through something similar; they got off to a rough start but have since turned things around. The game will be close and either team could come out on top, but the Bengals could be missing a key player for Sunday’s game.
The health of Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins is now in doubt for Sunday’s game after he allegedly hurt his quad on Friday, according to Eliot Shorr-Parks of 94WIP.com.
“Tee Higgins suffered a quad injury and is now questionable for the Eagles game vs. the Bengals on Sunday,” stated Shorr-Parks.
Among the Bengals’ best playmakers, Higgins has 29 receptions for 341 yards and three scores thus far this season. Last season, he played in just 12 games due to a number of injuries. Before that, in 2021 and 2022, he ran for more than a thousand yards in consecutive seasons.
Things might change slightly if Higgins doesn’t show up for Sunday’s contest. Defeating Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase are undoubtedly in Philadelphia’s plans. If Higgins were not present, the coverage of Chase would most certainly be altered. Over the next several days, keep an eye on this.
