The Dodgers agreed to terms with 29 international amateur free agents, including the №1 prospect in the 2025 international free agent class, Roki Sasaki.
In total, the Dodgers signed 16 pitchers, four catchers, six infielders and three outfielders to open the 2025 signing period.
Sasaki is the №1 rated prospect by MLB.com and went 10–5 with a 2.35 ERA in 111 innings last year for the Chiba Lotte Marines in 2024.
The Dodgers also added 6-foot-7 right-handed pitcher Joseph Deng, who is the first player in Major League Baseball history to sign a professional contract from South Sudan.
The Dodgers rounded out their star-studded class with highly touted pitcher Adrian Torres from Panama, who is regarded as the best left-handed pitching prospect in the class by many international scouts.
The Dodgers’ newest international class comes with players from seven different countries, led by Venezuela with 12 signees, the Dominican Republic with eight and Mexico with four.
