Prodigious wide receiver with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Even though he was reliable for the better part of a decade in the NFL, Mike Evans is still largely overlooked. Evans should have been the game’s center of attention after reaching the milestone, but he was distracted moments later when he dropped a ball and collapsed in agony, missing another touchdown opportunity. Before the match, Evans was experiencing some region pain; nevertheless, it worsened during the game and led to his eventual removal.

On Thursday, MRI confirmed that he had hurt his hamstring, a problem that has dogged him throughout his career; as a result, he will miss significant time as he works to recover from the soft tissue damage

Mike Evans, wide receiver for the Buccaneers, will miss at least four weeks (not games) after an MRI confirmed the original diagnosis. He may return after the bye week.

Evans’ return date is still uncertain, but we do know that he will sit out games against the Chiefs, the 49ers, and the Falcons. After Week 12’s bye, the team will reevaluate his availability to play against the New York Giants.

Evans was about to complete a 1,000-yard receiving season, his eleventh in a row, before suffering an injury. To reach the milestone, he would need an average of 95 yards per game going forward, even if he returned to play against the Giants in Week 12.
