ESPN Reports: Gayle Benson, owner of the new orleans saint, has announced that Dennis James Allen will no longer serve as head coach…..

The signing of Marquez Valdes-Scantling by the New Orleans Saints was motivated by a specific objective. His arrival in New Orleans was an attempt to mitigate the impact of Rashid Shaheed’s deep threat abilities.USATSI_22502093 ESPN Reports: Gayle Benson, owner of the new orleans saint, has announced that Dennis James Allen will no longer serve as head coach…..
Valdes-Scantling was cognizant of that. On Wednesday, he expressed his desire to “come in and contribute any way he can,” but everyone is aware of the nature of that contribution.

The wide receiver’s goal is to “manage the big-play potential that I’ve maintained throughout my entire career. I only wish I could go back to that and help advance the ball down the field for a few more points.
Throughout his four years with the Green Bay Packers, Valdes-Scantling maintained his status as a dangerous downfield threat for the Kansas City Chiefs. His career statistics included 15.3, 17.4, 20.9 (leading the league in 2020), and 16.5 yards per reception. He is a master at taking the pressure off defenses, having averaged 15.0 and 16.4 yards per reception in the past two seasons.

The fact that Valdes-Scantling is already familiar with the system will be an advantage. He said, “It’s very similar to the offense I had when I was in Green Bay a couple of years ago, so there’s some carry over there.”

Valdes-Scantling will have an easier time learning the Saints’ playbook and getting in game shape for Sunday’s game against the Chargers because he is already familiar with the offense’s fundamentals. Whatever the case may be, he is always prepared to go when his coaches call on him.
