There have been times when the Chicago Bears have not been at their full strength, but it appears that they may be able to get a key player back this weekend when they play the Los Angeles Rams.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Chicago will try to bounce back into the win column against the Rams on Sunday at one o’clock Eastern Time. Keenan Allen, the team’s standout receiver, may even be able to return to the field for the game this time around.

“Injury updates: Bears (wide receiver) Keenan Allen (heel) practiced fully and is trending towards a return (listed as questionable),” Rapoport reported to reporters. Rome Odunze, a wide receiver, participated in all of the games and is well enough to play once again.

It has been determined that both linebacker Demario Davis (New Orleans Saints) and offensive lineman Cesar Ruiz (knee) are unable to play due to injuries.

In the event that Allen is able to make a full recovery and return to the field for the game against the Rams, it will undoubtedly provide young quarterback Caleb Williams with an additional reliable playmaker. Allen has been struggling with a terrible heel ailment since he is one of the top receivers in football when he is healthy. However, he has been dealing with this injury.

Recently, Chicago has been having a difficult time, and the team absolutely requires as many different alternatives as possible in order to get the offense moving. This week, the Bears have an opportunity to go back into the win column, and it will be essential that Allen is able to return to the field of play.

He has only been able to play in one game thus far this season, and that was against the Tennessee Titans in the first week of the season. Allen recorded four receptions for a total of 29 yards during that video game. Recently, Williams has showed signs of improvement, and the return of Allen to the team will undoubtedly be beneficial to his performance.
