Love’s involvement was restricted throughout the week, and on Friday’s injury report, it was marked as questionable. He will not, however, be returning for another week after a knee injury he suffered in Brazil sixteen days ago.

Next Sunday, the Packers will welcome the Minnesota Vikings to Lambeau Field.
Love, defensive end Brenton Cox, defensive tackle Colby Wooden, offensive tackle Travis Glover, safety Kitan Oladapo, offensive lineman Jordan Morgan (shoulder), and cornerback Carrington Valentine (ankle) are all out for Green Bay.

An essential quality for any quarterback is mobility. Requiring 11 yards on a third-and-10 play is not as important as being able to run bootlegs and move in the pocket.

Love stated this week, “That’s a huge part of my game and I think it’s very important to have when you’re out there in the game.” It’s just not practical to be able to sit in the pocket and be a pocket passer, as much as you would like to.

Sometimes you have to move the sticks with your legs, and other times you have to get out of the pocket quickly to avoid pressure. Consequently, a significant portion of my game involves the numerous possibilities that arise. Therefore, I believe that will be crucial for me when I do venture out.

In order to stabilize his damaged left knee, which he suffered against the Eagles on September 6, Love practiced wearing a brace. Even though he moved well during practice, the injury will take one another week to heal.

“It might change my game a little bit, but it will help protect me and keep me stable in everything I do,” Love remarked. “In the end, I’m not a receiver who has to run crazy routes downfield—I can stay in the pocket, that kind of thing.” but undoubtedly has a slight impact on mobility.

Willis will start without Love against the 2022 team that chose him in the third round. As a rookie, he started three games; however, the Titans signed Mason Rudolph in free agency and selected Will Levis in the previous year’s draft.

In exchange for a seventh-round pick, they traded Willis to the Packers on August 26. He referred to the Willis-Titans narrative as “fluff.”

“It’s how you win or lose a game, that’s what it is,” Willis remarked. “We go play however many plays in a game and it comes to one or two very important plays that may be.” “But that’s the way it is; we leave all the other details to you guys.”

Last week, the Packers defeated the Colts 16-10 behind Willis. 53 runs of the ball were made by the offense against the flimsy Colts run defense. Given that Tennessee’s run defense is superior to Indianapolis’, Willis may need to take on a larger role.

Tom Clements, the quarterbacks coach, stated, “He’s calm on the sideline, which is good, and I think he’s calm out on the field, in the huddle.” He made some excellent passes, and he is obviously very athletic, so even in a jam, he can scramble and make plays. In light of everything, he gave a good performance for his first game here.

In order to cover for Love and Valentine’s injuries, quarterback Sean Clifford and cornerback Robert Rochell were promoted from the practice squad on Saturday. They are currently active.

The Titans’ roster is in good health. On Friday, only one player received an injury designation: running back Tyjae Spears (questionable; ankle). With him playing, the Titans will have Tony Pollard and Spears as their one-two punch.
