ESPN Reports: Dan Campbell to apply strategic tactical approach to Bills style of play against the Vikings…..

After being placed on injured reserve, linebacker Alex Anzalone was activated by the Detroit Lions on Saturday. The outstanding team captain will be returning for the National Football Conference game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

Lions activate LB Alex Anzalone, WR/PR Kalif Raymond off IR

Due to the fact that he suffered a broken left forearm during a game versus Jacksonville in Week 11, Anzalone has been sidelined for the last six games. Additionally, receiver and returner Kalif Raymond (foot) was brought back from injured reserve by the Detroit Lions. He did not participate in any of the most recent five games.

Anzalone, who is 30 years old, will fight the Vikings while wearing a cast on his arm. On Friday, he was labeled as having a questionable availability for the game.

Through nine games this season, Anzalone has racked up 56 tackles, seven of which have been for loss. He set a new career high with 129 tackles in 2023, and he had 125 tackles in 2022. A doubtful status has also been assigned to Raymond, who is thirty years old.

During this season, he has played in 11 games and started two of them. He has 16 receptions, 204 yards, and two touchdowns. In Week 7, Raymond returned a punt for 90 yards and scored a touchdown against the Tennessee Titans. His average punt return yardage is 14.4 yards, which is an impressive level of performance.

During his eight seasons in the National Football League, Raymond has played for five different teams and has a career average of 11.0 yards per punt return. He has also scored two touchdowns on 153 punts. He has been with the Lions for four seasons at this point.

Additionally, on Saturday, Detroit placed cornerback Emmanuel Moseley, who was suffering from an illness, on the non-football illness list. He had been eliminated from the competition in the past.
