ESPN: Is Monday Night Football Game Status Uncertain for Alvin Kamara?

Alvin Kamara’s availability seems bleak for the Green Bay game with his groin adductor ailment.

Interim coach Darren Rizzi claims his damage is “a little bit more significant than we first believed.” He will therefore be week-to- week right now. To be honest, for this week it doesn’t seem fantastic.”

Should Kamara be absent from the backfield, Kendre Miller may be the Saints’ running back of note. Clyde Edwards-Helaire was signed by New Orleans, but Coach Rizzi wasn’t sure whether he would be ready for Monday night.

He said to Rizzi he was “Happy to be home.” About Kamara’s situation, Rizzi left out whether he would need surgery. Rizzie kept on his injuries; “It ended up being, initially, he’s sort of feeling it during the game, a little bit, was a little bit minor at the beginning.

And then I truly think on the touchdown, the amazing touchdown catching he made, think he felt that a little bit more the initial testing were that wasn’t really going to be that awful, and it’s just a little bit more serious, so a little bit more missed time.

” He went on, “So I think with the type of damage he has, you know, there’s many viewpoints, there’s a different ways you can approach it, it can recover.

Kind of all of us, medical personnel, Alvin, everyone’s going to just kind of take a deep breath here and sort of see what the best decision is for him moving ahead.” Kamara could easily surpass 1,000 running yards. The team won’t place ohim in any position, though, to aggravate the injury.

Wide receiver Chris Olave and starting quarterback Derek Carr were also praised by Rizzi. Kickoff for Week 16 at Lambeau Field is set for 7:00 PM CT on Monday, Dec. 23, and the match will be played at New Orleans.
