The 2023 season got off to a hot start for Packers quarterback Jordan Love, but trouble is on the horizon.

Green Bay Packers told which player they must use more than Jordan Love, ‘he can do anything with the football’

As 2023 came to a close, Jordan Love received an overwhelming amount of praise. But things could take a turn for the better at the season’s conclusion in 2024. Once he stunned the Dallas Cowboys in a surprising playoff rout, analysts began to back Aaron Rodgers as his replacement.

While the Packers’ victory over the Cowboys was entertaining, watching Love’s squad upset the Bears in Week 11 might have been even better. Whatever the case may be, the fact that Love gave the Chicago Bears a chance to beat him is one aspect of the game that was disregarded.

While many analysts have weighed in on Jordan Love’s attention-grabbing performances, one group’s views stands out due to their tone.

A voicemail from Rodney Harrison Jordan Loving “Pro Football Talk” host Rodney Harrison, an NFL analyst, blamed quarterback Jordan Love’s new deal for Love’s issues on November 22. The quarterback, he said, should de facto sit quietly in the semi-bench.

If I were in Jordan Love’s position, I would seize the ball. He has simply displayed a modicum of carelessness in relation to the football.

If I were in charge, I’d put greater emphasis on running the offence through Josh Jacobs and getting the ball to him more often. My guess is that Jordan Love feels like he can do whatever he wants with the football now that he has this massive deal. “Sometimes he’s just really careless,” he remarked.

To be fair, he isn’t the first Green Bay Packers quarterback to occasionally fumble the ball (Brett Favre was, too), but teams often fail because of interceptions.

Jordan Love shares the lowest career total
With 32 touchdown passes and 11 interceptions, the Packers quarterback was a main attraction last year. It looks like he’s going to make a major mistake in one area this season. Love is now tied for the career high most interceptions in a season with the one he threw to the Bears last week.

So far this season, he has thrown for 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions; to avoid a career-high, he must not pass for one more pick. The ratio hasn’t killed the Packers (7-3) just yet, but if they want to make it to the playoffs, the common wisdom is they need to cut their turnovers in half.

The most concerning trend is that Love has thrown for one touchdown and three interceptions in his past three games. Will Love be able to get back on track, or will Packers fans have to start looking for a quarterback for the first time in 30 years?
