BREAKING: Matthew Stafford Re-signs Rams, Commits to finish career in Los Angele….SEE MORE
If they want to win the NFC West and secure a playoff berth, the Los Angeles Rams will need to perform well in the last games of the season. A recent article by Lou Scataglia of The Sporting News examined the Rams’ remaining schedule and predicted their postseason chances.
The disgraceful New York Jets will lose against the Rams, according to Scataglia.
According to Scataglia, “the Los Angeles Rams should have no problem” with the New York Jets, even though they might be a bottom-three football club. Perhaps the Rams won’t put as much heart and soul into this game as they would their last two, which are against division rivals and far more crucial than this one. Still, the Rams will cruise to a victory because Los Angeles is superior to New York. The Rams will prevail, 9-6.
According to Scataglia, the loss to the Arizona Cardinals came early in the season, when the Los Angeles Rams were nursing injuries. In their second meeting, Scataglia predicts a different outcome due to the Rams’ superior health.
“The Arizona Cardinals blew out the Los Angeles Rams earlier in the season, but when the two teams meet again in Week 17, it’ll be a much different story,” said Scataglia. The Cardinals have dropped three in a row after leading the NFC West with a 6-4 record. With Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford as their Super Bowl winning tandem, Los Angeles is healthier. With so much riding on this game, the Rams are going to pull off the upset. Pick: Rams come out on top, 10-6.
The Rams will play another NFC West squad in their last regular season game. Whoever wins this game might claim first place in the NFC West and a spot in the postseason.
