ESPN Reports: Philadelphia Eagles Finally Make a Decision to Visit the White House to Celebrate Super Bowl Win….

Now several publications are stating the Philadelphia Eagles DO have interest in the custom, despite a prior report stating the Eagles are not interested in visiting the White House as Super Bowl LIX victors. Assuming an offer is granted to them.

Following their Super Bowl LII victory during President Donald Trump’s first term, the Eagles did not pay a visit to the White House. There was considerable discussion about the team that was scheduled never materializing.

The White House claimed at the time that “the vast majority of the Eagles team decided to abandon their fans” as “the Eagles offered to send only a tiny handful of representatives.” After learning these facts, the President decided to modify the [June 5] event so that it would be a celebration of the American flag with Eagles supporters and performances by United States Marine Band and the United States Army Chorus.

Maybe more Eagles players would be eager to make this visit this time. Alternatively maybe not.

Once more, we will simply have to wait and watch.
