Just in: The Detroit lion have rewarded another star player with a four-year contract extension following his extraordinary postseason performance.

Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell has stated unequivocally that he is not worried about a social media message that went viral over the weekend, written by an important offensive player.

In a post by Jahmyr Gibbs, a screengrab of Jermar Jefferson caused quite a stir. Jefferson was seen posing in front of a whiteboard that contained important offensive terminology and instructions for the Lions. Campbell clarified his stance on the matter during his weekly radio broadcast, following his “no comment” on Sunday.
Yes, I am aware of what it is, but I’m thinking, we may as well be transparent. Campbell expressed her lack of concern. I mean, it doesn’t matter how good we are if we’re going to lose because to code terms. We should just publish the entire playbook and all of our code words, in my opinion. It is irrelevant. We will be unaffected and unharmed by it. I’m fine with it.

Even if the Lions use code phrases to hide their play-by-play strategy, teams can still learn the team’s tells and patterns by watching the tape. Campbell thus has a good idea of the team’s preferences since they are not hidden.

“Absolutely not. It is recorded, you know. No matter what you’re looking for, you can find it somewhere. The TV version is on tape. I mean, it’s absurd, you home team get more than us till after the game. Everything you need to know about attacking people and how they will attack you is on the recording, but listen, it’s all out there. That won’t be keeping me up at night, no. I don’t think it’s a good idea to share footage from the locker room or the players because you never know what could happen. But it’s really insignificant when compared to the bigger picture.

Since opposing teams are free to freely study film of the Lions’ offense, the fourth-year head coach had no concerns about the image. He is of the opinion that the photo will not affect the Lions’ prospects moving ahead.
