Detroit Lions top edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson is still producing excellent work while being sidelined with a serious leg injury. While he heals from the broken tibia and fibula he suffered in Week 6’s victory against the Dallas Cowboys, Hutchinson will miss a significant amount of time of action. InHutchinson paid an unexpected visit to a 20-year-old ex-Marine who was paralyzed from the neck down after suffering a spinal cord injury at boot camp last week. The young man is still recovering from his injury. The good news is that the young man is now feeling much better and has fully recovered. In addition to paying the ex-Marine a house call, Hutchinson presented him with an Amon-Ra St. Brown jersey, tickets to the Lions’ Thanksgiving Day game versus the Bears, and other gifts. Latest news on Aidan Hutchinson’s injuries Following his injury, there is hope that Hutchinson can recover in time to play in the Super Bowl, should the Lions advance that far in the season. That’s what a lot of sources have said, and not even head coach Dan Campbell denies it. “I would say if anybody can make it back it would be him,” he added. The Super Bowl is scheduled to take place just before the fourth month mark, therefore it will be a very close race between the four to six months that the Lions star was allotted to heal. Regardless, Hutchinson’s recent sighting walking unsupported by crutches indicates that he is making further progress in his rehabilitation.
